The proposed health centre forms a unified complex together with the existing building. The new extension follows the volume of the existing structure, while leaving open the possibility of replacing the old centre building in the future. The building is organised around a central garden, which gives the complex a clear spatial focus and creates a calm inner world for both staff and visitors.

The garden-facing side of the new building is gently folded inward in order to give the existing valuable trees sufficient space and to connect the health centre more directly with its green surroundings. Circulation routes, waiting areas and resting points open toward the garden, making the building intuitive to use and creating a calm, clearly legible environment for patients.

The building has a rational internal structure. Consultation rooms are placed in orthogonal blocks, while a free-form waiting and circulation area remains between them. This solution provides the medical rooms with a clear and efficient layout, while giving the shared areas a sense of openness and flexibility.

Views and orientation play an important role in the design. All family doctor and nurse consultation rooms face the park. Counselling rooms and the physiotherapy hall are connected to the garden and the central green space. The waiting areas open toward the surrounding greenery, making waiting time calmer and giving the interior a more humane character.

The outdoor space is designed as a nature-oriented environment with low maintenance needs. The proportion of greenery is increased, existing mature trees are preserved as much as possible, and local meadow plant areas are introduced to support biodiversity and improve the microclimate. Parking and access areas are finished with permeable surfaces to slow down rainwater runoff and allow it to infiltrate into the ground on site. Materials from the demolished building are reused both in the outdoor areas and in the construction of the new building.
