In Tartu’s Tammelinna district, six exclusive townhouses have been designed to meet the needs of contemporary urban living, while offering the privacy and closeness to nature typical of a private home.

The townhouse units are slightly staggered to ensure that each home has a front garden opening to the morning sun. This creates a socially active environment for the neighbourhood, where children can safely meet and play, while adults enjoy the early sunlight on the terrace in front of the kitchen. The stepped rear façade balances openness and privacy, giving each unit its own terrace facing the evening sun. At the same time, the terracing adds visual dynamism to the architecture and strengthens the feeling of an individual house.

Each home is carefully planned to maximise natural light, spaciousness and privacy. The combination of a morning-sun front garden, a private back garden, and the kitchen–living room in between creates a strong sense of detached-house living. The back garden can host an outdoor kitchen and barbecue area, while the front garden might feature a herb bed and a small coffee table.

The interiors are contemporary and functional, with an open-plan layout that ensures natural light and an airy feel throughout the living space. A luxurious kitchen island forms the heart of each home, seamlessly connecting the kitchen and living room into a single whole.

The Tammepärja tee townhouses bring together modern urban living, nature-friendly architecture and a community-oriented spatial concept, offering an ideal living environment for families and for anyone who values privacy, light and a sense of openness.
