PRIVATE HOUSE "GREEN"
Project: 1997
Completed: 1998
Location: Typical new suburban residential development area with no identity.
Typology: One and a half storied private house.
A private house consists of different blocks bedroom, office, children's rooms; technical areas. The space between the blocks is the interior exterior with different heights and surfaces. The previously mentioned space and blocks are framed by a shell with a simple shape. The broken slopes of the roof follow the economy of the blocks creating an open space of up to five meters. The roof, the covered driveway and lot relate to the surroundings and form a part of the surrounding environment. The windows that reach to the floor make the interior appear to be a part of the lot when one is outside and when one is inside the floor surface appears to be on extension of the grass that is outside. The house is built using prefabricated wood constructions. The exterior has been covered with sowed boards, plywood and concrete plates.
